Saturday, March 17th, the three Distribution Centres were open from 9-11 am to receive those registered with the Food Bank.  If you need help, please call ahead 905-806-1125 or ktfoodbank@gmail.com so food can be shipped to the appropriate centre in the right quantity for you.

The King City Firefighters Association has renewed its 2018 sponsorship by doubling the December amount with a recent cheque for $1,000.  Their perennial support means the world to the Food Bank.

Thanks are offered to the customers of Foodland in Schomberg and Rocco Macri who supports the food card program. This brings in about $2,000 of food cards in a year, which are given to registrants who prefer to use cards for shopping instead of boxed food.

No Frills in Nobleton, John Ciarallo Owner, tagged the Food Bank in last October’s Pay it Forward campaign.  This has brought a cheque for $646.74 to the Food Bank.  Thanks to all the shoppers who participated in this win-win.

St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church presented a cheque for over $2700 to be used ‘where needed’.  It will help keep Christmas in King in the black, as this program has to be self supporting.

Posters are sprouting up all across King to advertise that the Food Bank is happy to receive the $25 Loblaw cards being issued to those requesting it.  Visit www.loblawcard.com   for details.  Please consider donating this card.  KTTFB purchases large quantities of cards, and your donation would greatly help this biggest line item in the annual budget.
